Description

Crossover with this [link] requested by someone on /mlp/. I've experimented with the shading and coloring here and am not particularly happy... Maybe it's because of SAI, maybe I'm doing something wrong, I dunno. I'm gonna try Photoshop, I think.

Vision
You kept the feel of the original theme pretty good. There are subtle differences, wich is a good thing. I would rate this to be a 4, because in my opinion, you reached your goal nicely <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="=D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="367" title="=D (Big Grin)"/>

Originality
Hmmmm... This one is quite difficult, you used an inspiration, and the Background looks very similar, wich was good for your vision. But i can see a few subtle differences, so for this, i will give you 2 stars.

Technique
I especialy love the hair and shade. I did not see any mistakes, or anything there. I did notice that one of her eye lashe's (her right eye, so left on the Deviation), looks a little missplaced. Her wings and mane look wet, but except from the style, there was no water visible. I think it would have been an amazing touch if you would add some water to her mane, wings, and maybe like in the original, some leaking out of the bucket. Considering the beauty of the mane, shade and colors, i will give this.... to bad 3.75 does not exist, i will give 3.5 stars for this. I realy am amazed by your shade's. If you wouldn't mind, i would like to know how you did that (What program and tools did you use? Any hints on this?), because it is simply gorgeous.

Impact
When i look at this artwork, and allow it to come alive, i can see that she and a friend went to get some water. For them and the others to drink at the campfire. But a gentle breeze blows through her mane, and tickles her. Making her want to be playful. They play at the riverside for a while, and afterwards decide to have a riparian* campfire. I think i will grant this a 3 stars.

*Riparian: Of, on, or relating to the banks of a natural course of water.

Keep up the great work and happy Deviationg! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="=D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="367" title="=D (Big Grin)"/>
