Yay for our most beloved wall-eyed pegasus!
I was so excited about this new ATG thingy yesterday, but now I don't think I'll be able to complete the tasks. First, I don't have much time mid-week, and second, I've got a lot of stupid (yet attractive for me) ideas that require my attention.

Hi!
The art in general looks great, but I think her nose is curved somehow inaccurate to the show. This is, however, not such a big problem, since it makes her even a more derpish Derpy.
Her mane has too much highlight. Just a bit too much though.
Her right thigh (viewer's left,) is sort of strange. Maybe you need to outline it more so it looks more, a thigh.
Lastly, the background image should have a deeper darker blue, but I think the shining light beam is great. Maybe adding some contrast would help.
Keep calm and Brony on!

It's pretti simple: first, I've painted her whole tail with the pale yellow, then I've picked a more saturated and a bit darker shade of orange, set the opacity of my brush to, like, 50% and painted the shadows on the tail the way like it's solid; then I've picked even more saturated shade of orange, set the size of my brush smaller and fully opaque, and painted the deep shadowed lines along the hair. And some white highlight.

Wow, that looks great! It's something of your marvelous style again and you have a seal of approval from me.
This sketch turned out very good in the end. I like her mane (it's realistic - just like you usually do) and the shadows. I also like the overall lightness of the motive and even the background pretty fills the space.

I was to do something for the ATG too, but I've got so much ideas too, so I'll just do them instead.

Thank you! I've tried to fit her into some setting appropriate for ATG but couldn't think of anything. So I've successfully failed the first day's assignment. I regret nothing, though. I've been trying to use lines of action to build different poses for the last couple of days, and it turned out so good, I haven't had so much fun from drawing for quite a ling time.
